Cancellation fees

Dear guests, when a booking is cancelled we always follow the cancellation terms stated in the confirmation of your particular booking.

Unless otherwise agreed when the booking was made, the following terms apply:

The cancellation fee is calculated from the price of the services ordered, in accordance with the conditions of the particular booking.

Online bookings

For bookings made through Booking.com or another booking portal, the cancellation and payment terms stated for the particular booking and in its confirmation shall apply.

Promotional and non-refundable rates

Different cancellation terms may apply to special, promotional or non-refundable rates. These terms are notified to the guest before the booking is confirmed.

Group, corporate and wedding bookings

For group, corporate, wedding and other events, the cancellation terms are determined individually and are stated in the quotation, the booking confirmation or a separate contract.

Early termination of the stay

Early departure from the hotel is not deemed to be a cancellation of the booking before arrival.

In the event of early departure, the guest is obliged to pay the price for the entire stay booked, irrespective of the reason for the early departure.

Deposit

If a deposit was paid when the booking was made, its use, any refund or its set-off against the cancellation fee is governed by the conditions of the particular booking.

Special conditions for deposit payments may apply to group, corporate and wedding bookings.

Individual assessment

In the event of serious and demonstrable circumstances, Hotel ★★★ Plauter Kúria may, by agreement with the guest, individually assess the possibility of changing the dates or of reducing or waiving the cancellation fee.

However, such individual assessment does not arise automatically as an entitlement of the guest, unless such an entitlement arises from the applicable legislation.
